Please join us on March 2nd as we host a Community Day in remembrance of Deputy Jake Pickett.


Jake loved serving our community.  He and Brik would visit the schools and you could always find him talking with people around town.




This event is meant to continue helping the community as Jake did. We will begin with a ceremony at 11:00 a.m. and then the following booths and events:




Car seat safety booth


Red Cross blood drive


Red Cross disaster relief table


Sylvia’s Center booth


Hero Family Outreach


Smart 911 signup booth


Two K-9 Demonstrations


Sniff kits and bloodhound dogs


Boone County Humane Society


Special Response Team Demonstrations


Children’s station with DJ, lemonade stand, face painting and coloring


Bounce Houses


Hot dogs for Heroes – hot dog, chips and a drink for a donation


Purchase Deputy Pickett ornaments, bears and t-shirts
