Citizen’s Academy
About Us
Citizen’s Academy is a class provided by the Boone County Sheriff’s Office. Participants have the opportunity to:
- Learn what the Sheriff’s Office does in your community
- Interact with Deputies
- Ask those questions you’ve always wanted to ask
- Experience firsthand what it is like to patrol Boone County
- See what proactive steps the Sheriff’s Office is taking in many areas
- Tour the Corrections Division and the Communications Center
- Learn about the Challenges that are Facing Law Enforcement
